We work on projects to Strengthen Families!

Help Me Grow Welcome home newborns visits, Early Intervention and Early Start - Families with children ages 0-3 are able to utilize in-home services that include assessments of delays, referrals and family support.

Service Coordination Agency representatives oversee the coordination of services for our most challenging youth and their families.

Wraparound coordination helps families who have multiple needs. The team of providers and family supports focus on the family's strengths to help fill their needs.

Asset Building Every program is based on the Search Institute's 40 Developmental Assets. The Assets help build resiliency and problem solving skills in youth.

Ohio Children's Trust Fund programs/services to reduce child abuse and neglect.

SMYL Seneca Mentoring Youth Links program is dedicated to pairing local youth with mentors in order to provide a positive, stable influence in the youth's life. A mentor is there to act as a friend and a guide in a fun and positive way.

Wraparound is a free service to any seneca County resident with a child.

Wrapround is designed to help families who have multiple needs. It could include any or all of the following:

  • Education
  • Behavior
  • Parenting
  • Emotional
  • Social Well Being
  • Communicaiton
  • Financial
  • Other Family Needs

The Family & Children First Council consists of representatives from human services, mental health, schools, local government, the court system, youth services, developmental delays and disabilities, United Way, parent representatives and others.

The Council provides integration and planning to improve community based, family centered services.

The Council serves to bring service providers together, cut through the red tape, increase local flexibility, and focus programs on families and children.
